The only thing I don’t like about Yakuza isn’t Kiryu always leaving the villian alive, or even the “same-ish” endings, or convoluted plots, it actually really love that kind of stuff. But I hate when they have shit happen that shouldn’t because of plot reasons. Like, you mentioning why does everyone have a gun but nobody fires? Or plot reveals that should have happened sooner but because somebody didn’t mention 1, 1!!!!! Thing it creates a misunderstanding that could have easily been resolved, or better yet, implemented way better. It’s literally the devs laughing at us and expect us to accept it. That sucks. Still great stories and games though. Mostly.

So I actually found out why they call him the Florist of Sai, it’s because he delivers all the messages for the people he PI’s for on flower cards!

Yuta put me on a roller coaster of emotions. I find out he’s Haruto’s father and I want to kill him. Then Kiryu helps me realize that what’s done is done and we can’t be mad so I calm down. Then Yuta comes running to everyone on the boat, talks about how much he loves Haruto, and joins everyone else in the mission. And at that point I wanted to cry my eyes out.

This series is awesome and Kiryu is one of THE BEST characters. I really like Ichiban too so the series is in good hands. Don’t get me wrong I was worried when learning Kiryu wasn’t the main character anymore but after playing the first like a dragon I was relieved to see that Kiryu’s successor is a good character. I’ve played them all but your videos were a GREAT recap before Infinite Wealth so I just wanted to thank you for the time and effort. This game was non stop kickass all the way through. The ending got me so excited when Shishido got captured by the Daidoji to make him an agent like Kiryu. I wonder if we'll see him in future games or if he'll even get his own Gaiden game
